Our Favorite Family Games and a Giveaway! {Ends 8/31/15}

We love playing games with our children. It makes for a fun family night AWAY from the television. Games help you to interact with your children. They provide learning opportunities as well as memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend setting aside a regular family game night with your children, if not weekly, definitely monthly.

This week and next I am going to be posting a review of each of the games below as well as sharing some pictures with you of my family playing with our personal sets. These are all games that we have been playing for years and some of them have very special stories tied to them.

Richard Scarry’s Busytown Eye Found It! Game has been one of the kids’ all time favorite board games. We all play and we all win. I can’t wait to share this one with you.

Uno Moo is a child’s version of Uno the card game. This particular game we bought as a surprise for our daughter when she was in the hospital. It not only holds a special place in our heart for those reasons but we still love to play and I will tell you why!

You may have heard of The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game before. It is pretty popular. It was the very first board game that we ever bought for our children if I remember correctly. They still love to play and I think it is so cute. It is very educational too!

Do you love Disney’s Frozen Movie? Surprise Slides is a fun game that is really unique. It involves puzzle pieces, surprise game-changers, and of course Olaf!

My husband has Norwegian roots so when he first heard of this Swedish outdoor game called Kub a few years ago, he actually built his own set, but now they are easy to find and buy. Where this is a great game for adults, children love it too!

You have more than likely heard of ladder golf as it has really gained in popularity over the last couple of years. It is quickly becoming a family favorite. The kids love it and my seven year old gets quite competitive with it. We have all of our extended family over and play together.
